How do I return an item?

Refund/Return/Exchange Policy:

Your happiness is very important to us! Rest assured, we will ALWAYS take amazing care of you. All packages received must be inspected and reported within 7 days of delivery (via email or phone call) of any issues or intent to make a return. If such time as passed, please ask for a review to make a possible exception. ALL RETURNS MUST BE PRE APPROVED. So, if you need to process a return or exchange, please contact us prior to shipping your items back for your situation to be reviewed and for proper instructions.

For incorrectly filled orders or defective items: Please call or email us for our steps on handling your specific situation. Those are handled on a case by case basis.

For all other reasons for returns: (not what you were looking for, changed mind, don't like it...)
If a return is accepted for at no fault to us, return shipping is to be paid for by the buyer. Because we often pay more in shipping than we charge our customers, the difference between original shipping paid by buyer and original shipping cost paid by Creative Fiber Arts will also be subtracted from your refund. After inspection, accepted returns may also result in a 20% restocking fee. Restocking fee is waived if you choose to exchange or use for in store credit. Buyer also responsible for full shipping on newly exchanged items. Yarns must be able to resell. This means in like new factory condition, without any missing yarn, labels and free from odors. This includes if it was unwound at all and rewound, it will not be considered new. Items that are returned in any less condition will not qualify for a return and will only be shipped back to buyer at buyers expense.
